Israeli civilians are now on the front lines of an escalating war with Iran. Missiles have struck densely populated cities, including Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Bat Yam and Tamra. Buildings have been reduced to rubble. Millions are running for shelter with only moments to spare. The roar of missiles and Iron Dome interceptors is deafening — and psychologically devastating for a country nearly two years into war.
Oct. 7, 2023, will be remembered as the worst attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
On a quiet Shabbat morning that coincided with Simchat Torah, Hamas terrorists infiltrated 22 communities and a music festival — murdering 1,200 people, injuring thousands, and abducting 240 civilians, including babies, the elderly, and entire families.
The war that followed is the longest in Israel’s history. As the uncertainty continues, we pray for the safe return of the remaining hostages — and for peace, security and healing for all Israelis.
